We are excited to announce Welliba’s collaboration with Human Capital Singapore (HCS).
HCS is Singapore’s national centre for Continuing Education and Training in human resource management. They offer training to people managers, equipping them with the skills needed to meet industry demands, alongside providing advisory services to help organisations strengthen their human capital management.
Welliba is offering our technology to HR Powerbank, HCS's flagship programme, which focuses on creating inclusive employment opportunities by empowering individuals with disabilities to succeed in today’s workforce. HR Powerbank is the surrogate employer for persons with disabilities and will be working closely with SG Enable to train and prepare persons with disabilities for job readiness.
The HR Powerbank initiative, called The Next WorkforceX, is a programme designed to empower persons with disabilities to excel in the workplace today. The initiative manages the entire employment process, from training and onboarding to job placement, ensuring a seamless transition into fulfilling careers.
The launch of Next WorkforceX @HR Powerbank powered by Welliba was attended by Mr Eric Chua, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth and Ministry of Social and Family Development and witnessed by Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore, Mr Heng Swee Keat, on 15 October 2024 at the Enabling Mark Award Ceremony organised by SG Enable.
Through this collaboration, Welliba will support The Next WorkforceX by providing personalised insights and personalised resources for the professional development of participants, while HCS will gain actionable data to create suitable mentoring and skills programmes to help people thrive in new roles and development opportunities.
Ho Geok Choo, CEO of Human Capital Singapore, says:
“Welliba's partnership with HCS on this first collaboration initiative will be pivotal in ensuring the lifelong career success of individuals with disabilities. Through their AI-powered platform, Welliba provides personalised insights, coaching, and development resources that help participants in The Next WorkforceX programme develop new skills and understand how they can be supported to thrive in new career and job opportunities. Their continuous support will equip our programme managers, mentors and coaches with actionable data to enhance engagement and learning. Welliba’s contribution is integral to creating a more inclusive and sustainable workforce for the future.”
Katarina Coppé, CCO of Welliba, says:
"At Welliba, we are proud to support HCS’s The Next WorkforceX initiative, empowering persons with disabilities to thrive in new career and job roles. By providing personalised insights, coaching, and data-driven solutions, we help individuals grow professionally while enabling businesses to enhance employee engagement and performance. Together with HCS, we are committed to creating an inclusive and sustainable workforce for the future and this first initiative is just the beginning of the impact we can have together with HCS on different communities that can benefit from accessing more self-insight and relevant personalised recommendations to increase employee experience and the effectiveness of learning and development."
